CARE List
The CARE List is a voluntary registry to help local emergency response and preparedness teams identify individuals who may need extra assistance during community-wide emergencies such as severe weather, extended power outages, disasters, or evacuations.
Important To Know:
Registering does NOT guarantee assistance during an emergency. However, it helps responders plan, prioritize resources, and better understand community needs.
Who Should Register?
You may want to register yourself or a loved one if you:
- Have limited mobility or need help evacuating
- Depend on electricity for medical equipment (oxygen, ventilator)
- Have a disability or condition affecting response to alerts
- Live alone without nearby support from family, friends, or caregivers
- Need transportation to reach a safe location or shelter
