The Minnesota Vaccines for Children Program (MnVFC) offers FREE or low cost shots for children 18 years of age and younger. When to get your child vaccinated go to the MDH website. Use the tab below to submit a vaccine appointment request.

Properly manage household-generated sharps and medical waste to ensure safety for Pope/Douglas Materials Recycling Facility and Waste to Energy employees and waste haulers.
Drop off properly containerized sharps, needles, and lancets at the Environmental Center.
Containers must be in any screw top bottle/container or approved red bio-hazard plastic puncture-resistant boxes. NO loose sharps or sharps in plastic bags will be accepted.
Mobile Drop Off Events
Pope/Douglas Solid Waste operates a mobile household hazardous waste (hhw) collection trailer. The trailer is used, in conjunction with, community cleanup events that occur in many cities and towns throughout Pope and Douglas Counties.
This is a service that is available to all household residents of Pope and Douglas Counties.
There are no upcoming mobile drop off events.
